  1. Hey Saul,

I’m Daniel from the SLJ Blog commenting team. I’m looking forward to seeing all your amazing blog posts and I hope you’re enjoying your summer.

Great work on your dam, interesting approach. I love how big your dam construction is, was the dirt hill there already or was there lots of digging involved?

This is a great experiment, some things worked well like they were meant to but somethings didn’t, which is great because now you can carry on learning and discover how to make it work differently. Science is all about experimentation to find what causes different results.

What things might you try to make the dam work more effectively? I wonder if there are other students who have done things differently you could try.

Have a look at Lucas’ dam for some ideas. His one worked in some ways but he also found that it let a bit of water in underneath. https://sfoalucase.blogspot.com/2020/12/me-and-adams-dam.html

    Merry Christmas Saul,
See you later in the comments,

    Daniel
