Ruby here, a blog commenter from SLJ. Hey, great stuff on your blog post. I love that you spent the time to think about all the essential things you need to have a great summer. It's so true - I can't imagine life without these things either. Do you do a good job of remembering to take them all with you?

I went walking on a beautiful nature hike with some family on Sunday and I thought I was SO prepared because I took my sunblock, a spare change of clothes, and even my deoderant. But - I forgot my water bottle! How silly of me! Only like the most important thing I could have needed.

It's good to have lists of essentials somewhere accessible to look at if your at all forgetful like I am. The more pictures like you've put in your slideshow, the better!

    Keep up the great mahi,

    Ruby

  2. Mōrena Sual!

Chris here from the Summer Learning Journey, again! Tēnā koe for getting involved in another task. Did you enjoy it?

The tent was a nice original item, hadn’t seen many people mention tents as essential to summer but they definitely can be! What questions hadn’t been answered yet that stopped you from finishing the task? It looks mostly complete to me. Some more explanations for each item would be good, but you have still managed to make a complete list of ten essential summer items, so ka pai!

Looking forward to seeing what you post over these last couple of weeks!

    Ngā mihi!
    Chris

  3. Ka pai Sual. Very smart choices! And I like the way you have presented them and started to explain your reasons. Have you managed to make it to the beach with your tent much this summer?

  4. Essentials mean something that you take with you [ you can't take a house with you]
