Hi bloggers, On wednesday Manukau has Netball If you don't know what netball is it's a sport similar to basketball but it mostly played by girls. In Netball we had two sessions the first was a warm up we played infinity tag. The first session was passes. we had three passes. They are Over head pass,Chest pass and Bounce pass and when you pass you need to step forward. The second was balance. We played a game called river and bank and then we learned pivot because in netball the person who has the ball can't move so we had to use pivot to turn. After we played a game that we had to use pivots to pass the ball and a runner had to run to the middle of the count and back. And see if the runner won or the team won. Blog ya Later

ReplyDeleteI was in the hall with the juniors when seniors were having a netball session. I was very interested to see what your coaches were doing with you. Your explanations are very clear and the diagram was a great addition to your post.
Perhaps you could have explained how Infinity Tag is played and how each type of pass is done. I would be interested to know.

Netball is a fabulous game, did you know that alot of boys actually play it. They can do so up to year 8. Lots of mixed netball teams play for school teams.
