Kia ora bloggers Today in SLJ (Summer learning journey) I did Kiwi jingle bells for this activity we had to listen to the song We to create our own song on a slideshow we to write a title of the slideshow BLOG YA LATER
Step it up
In the step it up activity add a screencastify and listen to whats to difference in NZ and the northern hemisphere
- it's winter in the northern hemisphere and it's summer in the southern hemisphere
- people in the northern hemisphere go to bed early and the southern hemisphere go to sleep late
- people in the southern hemisphere spend a lot of time outdoors
- in the northern hemisphere roads are closed southern hemisphere roads are open
Kia ora Sual. What an excellent blog post! I like how you've included some facts, your own song and a video so that we can learn more about Christmas in the different hemispheres. What did you enjoy most about this task? Next time you make a song maybe you could use Incredibox or another tool to create a backing track?
ReplyDeleteKia Ora Sual,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.
This is an awesome post and you did such a great job doing the starter and step it up activity.
For the starter I thought you did an awesome job writing your Christmas jingle, it reads like a story of a family going on a fun Christmas road trip, is that something your family does around Christmas time?
For your step up activity I really enjoyed hearing you sing your jingle, it helped me hear the tune and rhyming of the song and I think you did an awesome job and you included information about the different types of Christmas all around the world. Like how here in New Zealand we have a hot summer Christmas where we go to the beach and have bbqs and in the USA they have a cold snowy Christmas where they stay inside by the fire or go sledding.
It is always interesting to see how different people celebrate, thank you for sharing that and I hope you learnt something new!
Merry Christmas, Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
Ngā mihi nui,
Zana Yates
